Why Have Colour?
Colour Nbtv Can provide greater contarst and picture quality to an otherwise dull picture, But how do you encode this? Well, These formats shown below can show you some techniques on how to go about this.
GHGM2C
Is The simplest Colour format, only requiring 2 channels, one for Orange and the other for Blue-Green. It produces certain shades much better than the other. the Downside is that certain Colours aren't accurately represented and there is no sound reproduced.
CCNC
A high qualtity No-Losses format with the downside of requiring a Co-axial Digital connection to function.
FSC
A simple and effective method where the monochrome signal is tinted R, G then B to sacrifice framerate for Colour and can be made decent sense of on a mono set, albeit with some flashing.
NBSECAM
A hybrid format which adds SECAM colour to the Mono signal. Basically the same as .
NBSC
A hybrid format which add NTSC colour to a Monochrome signal. Good And Bad but can add something to the video.
